Is my account fully set up for the Automation Service?

Once you've integrated your payment processor and activated your billing, there are a few key settings we recommend completing to get the most out of Chargeflow's Automation service. These steps help us fight disputes more effectively on your behalf:

1. Automation Optimization

Go to: Dispute tab > Automation Optimization tab

This helps Chargeflow better understand your business so we can build stronger dispute responses tailored to you. We recommend completing this as soon as possible. Refer to this article for more information.

2. Shopify Collaborator Access (Shopify integrations only)

If you've connected Chargeflow to your Shopify store, our support team will send you a collaborator access request. You can find this request in any of the following places:

  • Email β€” Look for a message with the subject line: "Request for store access from Chargeflow, Inc."

  • Shopify Dashboard

  • Shopify Settings > Users & Permissions > Collaborators

3. Automation Control Settings

Go to: Dispute tab > Automation Now / Automation Center (top right of the Disputes page)

This setting controls when Chargeflow submits your chargeback responses.

  • Default setting: Responses are submitted 5 days after the dispute initiation date.

  • Our recommendation: Set it to the maximum β€” either 20 days after the initiation date or 5 days before the due date. This gives you more time to upload additional evidence and allows the latest shipment status to sync before Chargeflow submits the case.

4. Third-Party Platforms, Apps, or Tools

If you use any customer messaging platforms or other tools where evidence can be gathered, head over to our Integrations page to connect them to Chargeflow so that evidence is uploaded automatically. This saves you time and can significantly improve your chances of winning disputes.
