How can I disenroll a Descriptor from Chargeflow Alerts?

Written by Avia Chen

There are two ways to disenroll from Chargeflow Alerts, depending on your needs:

Method 1: Through Alerts Settings

(Best for disenrolling a specific descriptor when you have multiple enrolled)

  • Go to the "Alerts" tab and navigate to Settings.

  • Click on the 3-dot menu next to the descriptor you wish to deactivate and select Deactivate.

  • Confirm that you understand the consequences and approve the deactivation.

  • Indicate the reason for deactivating your descriptor.

  • You will see a confirmation message stating that the descriptor status has changed to Sent for Disenrollment.

Method 2: Through Chargeflow App Settings

(Best for fully deactivating the Alerts service across all descriptors)

  1. Go to your Chargeflow dashboard and navigate to Settings → Account Deactivation.

  2. Click the red link and complete the short deactivation form.

  3. You will be prompted to select which service to deactivate — choose "Alerts" if you no longer wish to be enrolled.

  4. Once submitted, our team will process your request and deactivate your service promptly.

If you've completed the steps above and still see charges after the 14 business-day period, please reach out to the Chargeflow Support team via Live Chat or email at support@chargeflow.io.

Important! The status will change to Disenrolled once the disenrollment process is complete. This process can take up to 14 days. During this period, you may still receive alerts and will be charged for them, in accordance with our terms and conditions.
