The Alerts Refund Limits feature lets you set a maximum transaction amount for automatic refunds. Alerts received for transactions exceeding this threshold will not be refunded automatically by our system.
For example, if you set a threshold of $500, the system will automatically refund alerts for transactions valued below $500. Transactions of $500 or more will not be refunded and can be managed as chargebacks instead.
How to Set Up an Alerts Refund Threshold
Follow these steps to configure your refund threshold:
Access the Settings Tab
Log in to your WebApp and navigate to the Alerts Settings tab.
Enable the Threshold
Scroll down to the Limit the Refund Automation section. Toggle the switch to enable the threshold feature.
Set the Desired Amount
Enter the maximum transaction amount for refunds in the designated field.
Save Changes
Click Save to apply your changes.
Why does This matter?
Setting up Alerts Refund Limits provides a more strategic and comprehensive approach to chargeback management, enabling you to automatically refund smaller transactions while reserving higher-value transactions for potential chargeback disputes.
