When creating your Adyen API key, it may lack essential permissions that enable Chargeflow to manage your disputes effectively. Here's a list of permissions we request Adyen to enable:

  • API dispute management—This permission allows us to manage and receive dispute information on your behalf.

  • DISPUTE_DEFENSE_PERIOD_ENDED—This permission will help us preserve data integrity and transparency, particularly when a dispute is lost because it was not defended within the required timeframe or the chargeback was accepted.

  • ISSUER_RESPONSE_TIMEFRAME_EXPIRED—This permission will help us preserve data integrity and transparency, particularly when a dispute is won because the issuer accepted our defense or didn’t respond in time.

  • AlternativeDefenseMaterial—This permission allows us to manage the dispute freely and submit a comprehensive document to contest it.

Rest assured, we only request the permissions necessary to manage your disputes effectively.
